Welcome to The International Nugget Nomenclature Institute

Nugget? Just a word? Or is it more? We here at the I.N.N.I. have dedicated our time (and lives) to understanding the word NUGGET in all it's diverse and wondrous usage in every day language. Current researchers feel that Nuggets can be broken down along the following lines:

  1. a lump of something
  2. a lump of native gold
  3. anything of great value
  4. a bit size piece of chicken
  5. dingle berries
We believe these classifications are very worthy, but we are also interested in exploring the uses of nuggets in linguistics. This is our mission.
